By the Sea Soap Co. began with a simple desire: to find gentler, more natural products for my own skin, my family, and our pets. What started in my kitchen soon became a passion, and with the encouragement of family and friends, grew into a small business.

Inspired by the Coast

Living in North County San Diego and being surrounded by the ocean and nature is at the heart of my inspiration. Each product is named after a local beach town, coastal experience, or little treasure found along our shoreline. From an Encinitas Surf Break and Carlsbad Flower Fields to an Oceanside Beach Bonfire and La Jolla Kelp Tides, the collection is my way of bringing a little piece of our coast into everyday life.

Thoughtfully Made

Every product is handcrafted in small batches from my home in Leucadia, California. I choose ingredients with the same care I would use for my own family—plant-based and naturally derived ingredients, pure essential oils instead of synthetic fragrances, and natural clays and botanicals for color.

My goal is simple: to make beautiful, thoughtfully crafted products that feel good to use and that I can feel good about making.
